Day 15- Presentation

Hi everyone, today's weather is perfectly fine, with a temperature of 18 degrees, with the bright hot sun shinning onto our faces.

Today's the project presentation. It was held in the classroom and the purpose was to show that we were on the right track and that we were doing our work promptly. So, we had a draw-and-pick session and my group was the third to present.

We presented on a track and field event with a statement of work, the breakdown of the list of AON, a AON and a Gannt chart. Lesson ended at 11plus am.

Duoloujie for lunch with the rest and I tried something new today besides having soy milk. It was some kind of Bandito but hard-boiled egg and lean meat is chopped and placed between it and I can say that it is delicious but yet salty.

After which, together with DongXiang, the nine of us took a public bus to 光谷, which took us almost about an hour to reach that. Luckily we managed to grab a seat and almost everyone slept on our way there till DongXiang said that we were so brave as we didn't care about how the security in Wuhan was like as we were all seated separately.

The shopping mall was huge enough that we didn't spend all the time there. There were almost all branded things such as Nike, Adidas, Me and City, Kappa etc. Everyone of us think that the price were unreasonable for us to get these things in China since we could get it in Singapore at almost the same price, hence, we spent our time trying out the honey baked wings, milk tea and even pancakes at the top storey of it.

The 变态辣 is the most spicy one that nobody dared to try it out. Thus, we all decided to eat the honey one, with a little spicy.

The instruction for evacuation in the mall.

Instructions were given clearly in Chinese but not in English as they are translated word for word. I feel that clear English instructions should be checked and given so as to ease the chances of being misunderstood if there is really a need for evacuation although China has already shown improvement in learning English.

Due to the cruise trip starting from tomorrow till Sunday, we decided to take a bus back to Shopping Mall's Walmart to get our needs for the cruise.

It was stuffy in the bus as it was peak hour where people go home from work and that today the temperature was quite warm that we could even feel the strong heat from the sun and sweat. It was a good experience to feel the different seasons in China.

Reflection:
Today, when I bought 布丁巧克力 from COCO, we were speaking a mix of English and Chinese in front of the counter and thus, the person asked me where are we from and said that the language we talked was weird and funny. We told her Singapore and she asked us where does Singapore belongs to. It made me think real hard of how to answer here. We told her near Malaysia but she didn't know where is it. This depicts to me that Singapore may be powerful enough in some aspects, it can still be a small little red dot that some people in the world doesn't know about it.
We must ourselves defend Singapore.
Therefore, we should uphold a heavier trust to our country and be proud of defending Singapore. If we don't even have this kind of thought for Singapore, Singapore would not be able to survive when it is in difficulties.
This thought me that we should appreciate even more on what we have in Singapore.
