Day 37- Farewell dinner

Hi everyone,

Today is another free and easy day. We woke up later than usual for class, got ready and decided to head out because everyone had to assemble at the front of the school gate at 5.30pm for a group photo to be taken. There was a friendly basketball match held in the morning at the court opposite the back gate of our school between us Ngee Ann and the basketball team of WUST. Despite the score is disastrous, I guess both students from both of the school had gain an eye-opening experience.

Our representatives, including SiHao.

We decided to go back to SourceMe 发源地 to wash, treatment, blow and style our hair before heading out.
Hairstylist for the day. Treatment plus wash.

Had a quick lunch at MacDonald and set off to a new place, 建设七路, while the others went to roller blading with two of the 发源地 hairstylists. At first, LingLi and I decided to sit 黑-T, but after asking the price which cost 8rmb, we felt that it was expensive as we were told that it only cost us 5rmb to reach there. Hence, we went to the nearest bus stop and took a private bus there. The whole journey was only about 10min.

There were lesser seats in the private bus and that you could sit anyway without restrictions. It cost us 1.50rmb per ride.

The stop where we alighted at 建设七路.

We found this restuarant along our way and felt glad that there's our country's food in Wuhan. Singapore food paradise. However, due to time constrain, we could not try out what they have.

At 5.30pm, after taking a group photo together with all WUST students and ECE group, we walked to the restuarant opposite our school, opposite 建设二路. The food was great and it did not disappoint us like the one we had on our previous excursions. They consisted of the 'Singapore taste' and everyone enjoyed ourselves with the accompanied of our student leaders, XiongFeng, GongShan, MeiZe, DongXiang and XiaoGang. After which, we headed back to the hostel for some fun and rest early as they promised to take us out tomorrow to a new place.

A toast to everyone yet a one filled with emotions and feelings. Thanks for helping us for the past few weeks.

Our Singapore 'Yum Seng'.

The appealing delicious food that did not disappoint us:Our finished food.

Reflection:
It was a little reluctant to have this farewell dinner so fast as it means it will going to be the end of our trip in Wuhan but everyone of us enjoyed ourselves very much tonight. Our student leaders and us had already built up a strong bonding among ourselves and I guess it will be quite emotional if the day of biding goodbye comes. They had helped us alot and willing to put in all effort to make us feel comfortable in Wuhan. I felt that being sociable is one of the important global skills we need in life so as to gain new experience and aid from people around you. All 5 of them had made our trip in Wuhan very memorable.
