Day 21- Project Management, Self-study

Hi everyone, days passed very fast and I realised that this week is the fourth week of the trip already. In the morning, I was woken up by the loud noise polluted by the fire crackers and some trumpets and drums banging. I looked out of the window blankly and all I saw was some funeral activities (出殡) happening along the road. It was an interesting experience.

The temperature today is about 7 degree and there was some drizzles in the morning.

Had project management class again from 9am to 11plus am. Ms Neo let us off early for class today as we are having a class written test tomorrow. We had lunch at the MacDonald at 建设二路, bought some munching food and then went back to class for self-study ourselves till 5plus pm. There was this commotion inside MacDonald that made me reflect on how one's behaviour can reflect on a country's quality and attitude of the people. There was this man that made a fuss to everyone on the spot due to some misunderstanding with the counter girl that even the security in MacDonald got ready for if the commotion break out all of a sudden. I felt that as a Singaporean in a foreign country, we ought to behave ourselves no matter what and display the positive side of us instead to give one a deeper impression.
Look alike love letter that is twice the length of what we ate in Singapore.
It only cost 7rmb for 一斤.

Reflection:
A question bug me when WeiQin mentioned about currency, why must we have currency when money is just meant to be some paper with different printings and colours in different country. Despite our currency is about 5:1, saying that almost everything in China is very cheap, fulfilling our meals at below SGD$2 everyday on the streets, I reminded myself that we should use another angle to view the pain of the people in China. 4rmb for a bowl of noodles or even 15rmb for a value lunch in MacDonald can be seen cheaper to us, it may not be the same for them. Hence, I think that we should appreciate what we are having here in China and that to experience the whole learning trip effectively.
