Day 29- Practical Test

Hi everyone, HAPPY APRIL'S FOOL DAY!

We had our one and only practical test today for project management. The test was conducted at 9.30am. However, due to some problems my classmates had, we started the test at about 9.50am and we made our way through the tough and tricky questions till about 11.50am. Ms Neo decided to give us 2 hour lunch break till 2pm.

We had our MacValue lunch at the MacDonald at 建设二路 with Ms Neo. The MacValue lunch teppanyaki burger set only cost us 20rmb with upsize. It was rather affordable than in Singapore. All 5 of us had a great chat with Ms Neo about being a project manger and her experiences she encountered.

The chapter- Teams & Diversity is taught. We had a group discussion about what characteristics a team needs in order to succeed and were also told to write down what strengths each member had in the group. I felt that this activity is a reflection to what my group members uphold and what should I improve on in order to help my group in succeeding in any project work.

After class, the nine of us stayed back in class to watch and do the reflection on Elizabeth-The Golden Age, how the chapters we watched linked to how we can use it become a good project manager in planning all sorts of events.

Everyone's watching the movie on the projected screen.

We had something special today. All of us went to SourceMe 发源地 to do our hair. It was introduced by GongShan, our local student leader. Washed, reborned, permed, cut, styled. We spent a total of 2058rmb with the purchasing of the discount membership card.

The stylist that helped me reborn my hair.

My main hairstylist- 罗文治.

LingLi and I reborned. But the effect wasn't as great :O So, we will be going back again to do something new to our hair.

Daryl and Ron with their new hairstyles.

Reflection:
Along our journey in Wuhan, we saw many SourceMe 发源地 outlets. There were 2 outlets at 建设二路, one opposite MacDonald, while the other one in the shopping centre inside MacDonald. We heard from GongShan that there were several imitation of SourceMe 发源地 and that the one opposite MacDonald may consider one of it. I find it amusing that there are no copyrights in China and that whoever likes it can take after the name and conduct the same business line as the original company. They provide the same service, have the same signboard and they can be directly opposite one another. This situation would not be seen in Singapore, and if this happens, I guess there will be some law suits happening between both owners.
